Thank you notes from a 3-year-old

We just got thank you cards from Jack’s birthday out last week.

I know what you’re thinking . . . LAST WEEK?! Wasn’t his birthday party three months ago? Yes, yes it was. Our day jobs tend to be more hectic during the summer, and August is actually sooner than it was last year!

I was looking for a way for Jack to be a part of sending thank you cards, but at 3, there aren’t many ways to let him be involved, But I thought up a way to let him add his “signature.”

I printed his name in dotted lines for him to trace on the inside of each card. As he filled each one out, we talked about who it was going to and how thankful we were to know that person or family. We did them in groups of 5 at a time, so that he wouldn’t burn out on it.

I’ve decided to offer similar photo cards in my shop at a discounted price from my usual photo card prices. Here’s what you get:

  • Folded cards with a photo on the front
  • “Thank you” or another phrase written in any font on the photo, or underneath the photo.
  • Black and white text inside (including a dotted line name for tracing, if you’d like)

Take advantage of this deal get thank you cards for your child, or include more sophisticated wording for a wedding or shower thank you.
